The tower crew arrived on Monday 12/7, had to wait out the snowstorm, and began rigging the tower Friday 12/11. The new DTV antenna should arrive the week of December 14th. FYI my signal strength drops from the high 70s to low 60s (S/N ~22dB, from ~30dB) when you're operating at reduced power. I run out of error correction about five times a second at those levels. Normally I get a virtually perfect (corrected) stream. I live practically in the shadow of your tower, so when you install the new antenna, I'd be much obliged if you phased it for...oh, maybe a -45 degree beam tilt. ;) |
