Title: Reception Problems on WMTV Recently Post by: Jam Pro on August 24, 2010, 09:43 pm I've noticed lots of blocking and other signs of lost data for roughly the past week. This problem is confined to 15.1 and 15.2 (I tune to 15.2 by default when I'm not using that tuner for anything else.)
This has been just a nuisance, but tonight my DISH VIP722 began throwing "signal lost" messages. A fault of the VIP722 is that you can't simply clear the message and go on. I got stuck having to repeat a search after I was finally able to swap to a stable DBS channel. I've tried adjusting the gain on my RF DA (with reported signal strength around "79" on the DISH box regardless of gain/cut. Is there anything going on there? |
