rtn is having a problem! It shows the cisco kid, daniel boone, macaley's navy, & so on and all I get is paid programming. What's up with that? who wants to watch that stuff that late in the morning?

8/14/09 Update -

WMTV's analog transmitter is now completely disassembled and out of our transmitter room, new electrical is going in.  Higher powered transmitter has arrived in Madison and will be delivered to our building soon.  New DTV channel 19 antenna is scheduled to be delivered in October.  We will be increasing from our current 56 kW ERP (horizontal polarization only) to 155 kW ERP, full circular polarization.

155 kW will be our ultimate power limit due to proximity to WGN/Chicago also on channel 19 and our in-town neighbor WHA on channel 20.

They appear to be back on air, channel 8 has been signed on for the last 4 days and it was on last week, anybody know if their will actually be programing on it?

does anyone know the digital status of madisons low power stations?

Channel 8: I noticed they have been flipping on their mostly silent analog signal about once a week and it also holds a construction permit to drastically increase power and move to digital 36, have they tested on 36, do they even have digital facilities?

Channel 23: Do they even know what digital is?

Channel 38: they have been planing to go digital since 2006 and im pretty sure they have the funds/facilities to switch and several other TBN affiliates have gone digital, but have they even been testing on digital?

Does anybody know if Charter is going to add any HD channels soon I've heard at least 4 new HD in August is there any truth to this.   If so I would imagine QVC is one of them but what could the others be?             Woohoo more HD on charter always a good thing but a couple questions what are they doing with QVC in the HD area at standard definition?  Also do ya like the recently added HD channels are there any HD channels they could add that ya don't already get in standard definition because thats all we seem to be getting?    Happy Day

The stations shoul of made their moves on the 12th because thats when people were told to rescan their boxes, now unless people are explicitly told again or theres some sort of auto rescan, nobody will notice if any thing happens! 

is there anyway that a replay of the movies david karadine was in for those of us who grew up w/ him or just watched him & missed thoses movies? thank you.
