Well if the senate gets there way will any Madison stations still switch on Feb 17?

This website is reporting from the FCC's website saying most Quincy, Gray, Morgan Murphy owned stations are switching on Feb 17th 2009 and will be digital only.

Looks like WISC, WMTV, and WKOW are going to drop the costs of have an analog station running for the next 4 months.

Why do I gotta re-scan immediately after the conversion Feb. 17th ?

no, all madison stations are still going to be on the smae frequencies, and your digital converter will notice no changes.  I will probably do it a few times to see if I receive any new signals from nearby markets, it can't hurt.

You may want to update your front home page to reflect that WMSN analog will be on until June and the nightlight stations have changed from what the original information was.

I tried an analog tuner last night and confirmed the 'nightlight' stations right now are 3 and 57, not 27 and 57 as your front page notes say.  15 and 27 are off the air and 21 and 47 are still on.

you are right... i noticed that 3 is nightlight.  They have that big CBS 3 Analog logo on the upper-right corner.
