have you tried a pair of rabbit ears?  You are so close to the towers that the simpliest Menards indoor antenna should work just fine.

I currently live in Stoughton and I am 12 crow's fly miles away from the west side antenna's.  I bought a basic Radio Shack antenna with the converter box and I pick up 15 digital channels.  You should have no problems considering your much closer to them then me.

I finally purchased a HD TV and decided to go with a $11 Radio Shack Antenna.  My signal strength was petty good (ranged from 50 to 100) for all digital channels.

Thanks for the advice.
