We finally got the official word that NBC will be simulcasting the main Olympics programming in both HD and SD.  This is a welcome change from the 2002 and 2004 HD broadcasts which were delayed by a day.

The opening ceremonies for the 2006 Games start Friday, February 10th on NBC15-1.
