The talk show (unreliable sources) use to be on only two nights a week and now it seems that they are taking it too far.  It is based in Little Rock, AR which isn't the same as our Madison audience.

I like good subchannels like RTN, Music... but 15-2 weather is pointless and more than two subchannels just takes too much bandwidth from the HD channel.

Talkshow...I could do with out. Most of the caller were stoner hillbillys, but other than that it was great!

The talk show could be interesting if they had actors from the series they show on or calling in with stories. It looks like they are also going to be adding a daytime entertainment type show in the future as well. Someone must be telling them they need current content to pay the bills.

Looks like they still have some kinks to work out. The picture locks up on occasion. Like it is right now for the last several minutes (Wed 4:15 pm). I have seen this happen several times, once for at least an hour.

The titantv listings just have the generic program descriptions now. I thought they had the detailed ones before or did I dream that?

WKOW is showing 27.1 content on 27.2 and the RTN website is down. A quick google of RTN brought up  this site with some info: http://www.satelliteguys.us/ .
Maybe this is why 27 didn't promote it so far?

Did watch several hours of old music videos yesterday on 27.2 until sometime in the late afternoon/evening when it switched over to 27.1 programming. Hope they can find another service provider soon. Of course, they could make arrangements to air the local cable access station (WYOU) or one of the religious stations such as 3ABN until something else comes along. Apparently it is not easy to find alternate programming for these sub-channels. Perhaps this is why there is nothing on 47 or 57 except for the main channel.

The website is now: http://www.myretrotv.com/ .
Another article is here: http://www.tvnewsday.com/articles/2009/01/05/daily.5/ .
That one gives the impression it will be back in a few days.

I called WKOW today regarding no RTN programs. The person I talked to said RTN was having money problems and it was unlikely it would be back on the digital channel. She said they were waiting for word from RTN, and then channel 27 would decide what to do next. I really liked these old shows. I hope they can work something out and continue to broadcast them. It's been a boring past 2 days without them, that's for sure. I hate what's on regular tv nowadays. Other than the PBS channels.

I've read elsewhere that service has been restored to some affiliates.  I hope to see the return of RTN here soon as I love this channel.

And they are showing Night Gallery at 10pm instead of the call in show. I hope the call in show doesn't have to come back.

Has anyone else noticed that programming goes off at midnight & nothing but info commericals are on until 6am?
Also since RTN came back on, we have had the same programs showing as the week/weekend before.
I hope this isn't a bad sign that there is still a problem getting RTN programming.
Anyone heard anything on it since the problems of 2 weeks ago?
