Today I heard on channel 3 news at noon that Charter finally reached an agreement  with the Bigten Network and that Charter will be putting it on their expanded basic service.  Does anyone know if this is true?  If it is true when will the channel be available?  The news lady said that it probably won't be available for this weeks game.

I received a channel update notice on my TiVoHD regarding this today:

Channel 73 "BIGWISC" added.
Channel 795 "BIG10HD" added.

(Now if I could just get an answer from Charter regarding BIG10HD and FSNHD not working on my TiVoHD with cablecard.  I have a horrible feeling that as they're adding these new channels and doing their re-alignment that many of these channels will be SDV (Switched Digital Video) which doesn't play well with CableCards unless you get a Tuning Adapter.  Which I don't know if Charter has available yet.)

** The CableCard issue has been resolved.

It was simply just needing to clear the memory on the CableCard and re-auth.

As of yet Charter in Madison is not using any SDV channels.  This is going to change in the future (Charter has said this, and has been testing it in at least one market.)  But not today. =)

And just now after the Badger game ended my TiVo's programming information has switched again.

795 now identifies as BIGWIHD

So it's now the Big10 WI channel in HD as opposed to the regional version in HD.
