Just exchanged my Motorola Moxi box at Charter because it did not have HDMI out.

They gave me a Motorola 3416, which has HDMI but also a serious limitation in that it does not detect and switch signal depending on the channel. It makes you just choose 1080i or 720p and manually toggle on the unit itself if you want to switch.

Anyone out there have a Charter box with DVR and HDMI that also auto-detects and switches. I am sure there are boxes out there that do this but have no idea what Charter does and does not have.
